The new series of TOWIE is just around the corner and, with one of the show's longest running couples having split, everybody is wondering what the hell happened.
We're of course talking about Dan Edgar and Amber Turner, who called it a day on their relationship earlier on in the year - and, although they had been battling break up rumours for a while, their split still came as a massive surprise.
The rumour mill went into overdrive in late April, when Dan culled Amber from his Instagram grid. This led many to believe that something had happened between the pair - and it turns out it had.
Fast forward to now (August 2023 FYI, just in case you're reading this year 50 years in the future) and TOWIE will be returningto our screens any day now so fans are eager to find out what really went down between the two.
The man in question offered up a mini teaser for the upcoming series in a recent video on the official TOWIE Instagram and hinted at a new relationship.
Well, sort of.
"I'm in a good place, I'm focusing on myself," he revealed before diving into his current on-screen relationships.
"Me and Diags spend a lot of time together anyway," he confessed in reference to his bestie before adding, "I feel like maybe I've got another relationship straight away because he is like having a bird."
"He's pretty happy at the fact that he's got me back," Dan continued.
Of course, Dan and his BFF aren't in a romantic relationship (although how iconic would that be?), as Diags has a new lady friend of his own.
Although Dan claimed he was single in the Instagram video almost a month after his not-so-subtle social media act, he was spotted with a blonde influencer in Malaga; a blonde influencer who, quite frankly, is the spit of Amber.
It's safe to say Dan has a type.

Dan's blonde lady friend is Instagram model, make-up artist and aesthetic practitioner, Hannah Rally. The pair were spotted at Malaga airport but following speculation the TOWIE star but any rumours to bed.
A statement from Dan's publicist said, "Dan recently went on holiday with friends to Marbella for his birthday. He met Hannah towards the end of the trip who he knows vaguely from home who was also out there on holiday with her friends.
"Dan and his friends extended their trip a couple of times and Dan ended up on the same flight home as Hannah where they were pictured waiting for food at a fast food restaurant at the airport.
"They were not alone in the airport and did not go away together as is being claimed. Dan is 100% single."
Dan breaking his silence came after a holidaymaker told The Sun, "We all recognised Dan straight away but were surprised to see him with another woman.
"He had his arm wrapped around her waist as they checked in together, but he soon stopped once he realised other people had spotted him.
"They looked very comfortable in each other’s company and had clearly had a lovely break."
According to the publication, Hannah is already friends with a fair few of the TOWIE lot.
